Mölnlycke Health Care Presents the 13th Annual Mats Wilander Celebrity Tennis/Golf Classic
Thanks to the support of our generous attendees, sponsors and volunteers, the event was a huge success.
With the weather in full cooperation, the day got off to a brisk start as golfers and tennis players poured into Westchester Country Club eager to hit the tennis court and golf course.
On the tennis court, Mats Wilander was joined by tennis pros, John McEnroe and Leslie Allen. Jack Waite of Burning Tree Country Club coordinated the day’s tennis activities which kept both pros and amateurs fully engaged and challenged.
The pros match with Mats Wilander and John McEnroe was nothing short of exhilarating.
After a full brunch sponsored by Capstone Partnership and alcohol provided by Skyy Spirits it was time to tee off on the famous and challenging West Course for some of the best 18 holes on the PGA Tour.
Golfers tested their skills at the hole-in-one challenge to win the Masserati Quattroporte provided by Maserati of Manhattan.
The day wrapped up with a cocktail reception, a silent auction, three course dinner and live auction with music by the Stingers.
Robbie Twibble was on a mission selling DebRA bracelets for the heads and tails game. Thanks Robbie you did an amazing Job!
Alan F. Herbert, the immediate past Chaiman and Chief Executive Officer, member of the Board of Directors, and currently a Trustee of Hollister, Inc. was this year’s honoree. We were pleased to honor Alan for his more than 40 years of experience in the healthcare industry and his commitment to helping those with EB.
Our 2011 Spirit Award recipient Megan Barron, a truly impressive young woman gave an inspirational speech that touched every heart in the room.
Rebecca McCormick winner of the Depict eb Relate Artistically contest was recognized for her amazing art work.
With items such as the NY Fashion week and the MTV VMA tickets, the Wilander on Wheels private tennis lessons and the Keith Richards signed guitar it was no surprise that the live auction was a huge success.
