CONTEST DIRECTIONS & RULES

Nominate a member of the EB Community, friend, or family member to win the 2017 debra of America Spirit Award. To nominate them, please follow the instructions below:

1) Email events [at] debra [dot] org with “DEBRA OF AMERICA SPIRIT AWARD” in the subject line.

2) In the email include the following:

  • The nominee’s full name and age (all ages welcome!)
  • The nominees’s town/state
  • At least 2 color photos of the nominee
  • 2-3 sentences describing why your nominee should win and how they are an inspiration

Every month, the person with the most unique email nominations will be recognized on our Facebook, Twitter, and in our monthly E-Newsletter as that month's finalist. If you submit a nomination and the individual doesn’t win that month – don’t worry, they still have a chance to win! All non-finalist nominees will roll over to the following month for consideration. The 2017 debra of America Spirit Award winner will be chosen from this group of finalists by our EB Impact Committee in September, 2017. The winner will receive transportation and accommodations for two and two tickets to the 19th Annual debra of America Benefit, which will be held on October 26 in New York City.
